How to you make a dog stop barking?

I live in an apartment building, and in the building across from mine, there is always a yappy dog barking the backyard. Today it was barking for more than 3 hours straight early in the morning. I do not know anyone in the other building, but I can hear the dog clearly through my window. Are there devices that emit a high-frequency sound and makes dogs be quiet? My neighbor across the floor also has a dog who barks whenever the neighbor leaves. Hopefully this solution can deal with both.
Yes there are devices that emit a high frequency sound. Ypu can buy them from Amazon or your local pet store.

Whenever my dog barks i give it kong (a toy with a hallowed out center) and i fill the center with peanut butter to keep it busy. It takes it literally hours to get all the peanut butter out and while its doing that it doesn’t bark.
You can try talking to him and tell him ‘No’ everytime he barks. And reward him if he resist himself.
If not, the anti-bark collar.

Don’t you guys read the actual question it is not there dog so a kong or telling it no is not going to work.
Unfortunately i do not know of any such device. Maybe go over and talk to them and tell them to sort this problem out, if they don’t tell the owner and they should take action to train their dog or they have to move.
Call the police. The dog is certainly violating any noise ordinances in your area.
You could also make a complaint to that building’s management company. I doubt you’d be the first-the other residents must be reporting this little yappy pest as well.
The way to deal with barking dogs is to talk with the owner. The owner may not realize that the dog is barking, or that it is bothering you. Try to start out friendly and non-confrontational. Ask if the person can keep the dog inside more, or take the dog to work with them. The dog should not be left outside for hours – that’s just not good for the dog!
I’m not sure where you live because I am an owner of 2 dogs and we have to keep them very quiet in our neighborhood.
